Our History

Farmers Savings Bank has been serving Southwest Wisconsin since 1917. In the early 1990s, the bank's management realized that our role as a financial institution was expanding and that the community needed competent financial services.

In 1993, the bank hired Ross Smith as its investment officer. Mr. Smith brought to the bank 15 years of securities experience and a successful track record as owner of a financial services business in Sarasota, Florida.

Over the years, the scope of our services has grown, through our affiliation with Commonwealth Financial Network, an independent broker/dealer, who provides us with the wide selection of products and high-quality services to help us address our clients' needs.

In September 2007, Jason Reynolds joined the Investment Center as an investment consultant.  Mr. Reynolds brought with him 15 years of financial services experience.
